Summit Avenue Review invites literary and visual arts submissions from undergraduates, graduate students, employees, alumni, and other members of the University of St. Thomas community. If you are interested in contributing work to the magazine, follow the Submission Guidelines below.

We will accept submissions until Feb. 15, 2017.

All poetry and prose submissions will be automatically entered into our annual contest, the Lon Otto Prize in Creative Writing. Winners will share a pool of $500 in prizes.

Summit Avenue Review is designed and edited by University of St. Thomas students enrolled in ENGL 421 & 422, the Literary Magazine Practicum.

Work on the magazine begins in the fall, and a new issue is published every spring semester, generally in late April. Free copies are available from the English Department, OSF Library lobby, and various other locations on campus. You can read the most recent issue online by going to our website.
